Crusader Vans, Crusader Car Leasing, Crusader MVS and Vortex Vans are trading styles of Crusader Vehicles Limited, incorporated in England & Wales under company No 06203641, we are a finance broker and not a lender. As such we have relationships and offer products from a variety of reputable and ethical lenders.
We are members of the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association (BVRLA). BVRLA membership assures the customer that they should expect the highest levels of professionalism and integrity when using a BVRLA member. Who regulates us?
Crusader Vans & Crusader Car Leasing are trading styles of Crusader Vehicles Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 631262). Crusader Vehicles Limited is a Credit broker not a lender for the introduction to a limited number of finance providers only. We use a panel of lenders and more details of these are available on request.
Crusader Vehicles Ltd t/a Crusader Vans and Crusader Car Leasing, is an Appointed Representative of AutoProtect (MBI) Limited for Insurance Mediation activities. Their firm reference number is 312143. Our FCA permitted business is arranging general insurance and finance contracts.

What Products do we offer?
We can provide information on the following products, based on your circumstances:
Finance Lease, Contract Hire, Hire Purchase, Lease Purchase and Personal Contract Hire. Occasionally we may need to use the services of a 3rd party credit broker. We will advise you of this should the need arise.
We only offer the following insurance products from Autoprotect (MBI) Limited:

Non-Regulated Products - Extended Warranty and Recovery
What we will do for you
We will only make recommendations that are suitable for your requirements based on information that you provide us with. Therefore it is imperative to provide appropriate and accurate information throughout the process.
What we will charge
We charge a processing fee for our brokering service of £199 + VAT (£238.80 Inc VAT). This covers the cost of the work we do to source a vehicle for you, provide you with a range of finance options and where necessary, process your finance application. This fee also goes towards covering costs to allow us to continue to service you, after your vehicle has been delivered.
Where you order a vehicle from us that requires customisation, we reserve the right to ask for an additional non-refundable payment of £1000 in case of cancellation.
Exceptions to the above:
If you cancel a vehicle order prior to delivery and after the 14 days, you will be charged our cancellation fee and you maybe charged a further cancellation fee where the supplying dealer/manufacturer charges us a fee. In most cases, our lenders will charge an administration or documentation fee to set up your agreement but you will be informed of this before you enter in to the agreement by both us and the lender.
You will receive a quotation from us, which will inform you about the cost of each of the products and any other fees relating to any particular hire or credit agreement or insurance policy, as may be charged by the provider. Please note that we may receive payment(s) or other benefits from the finance provider and we receive commission as a proportion of the premium paid from our insurance provider if you decide to enter into an agreement with them.
Disclosing commission we earn
As part of our business model, we rely heavily on commission paid to us by finance companies, for introducing you to them. You can ask us at any time throughout the customer journey, how much finance commission we may be paid by the finance company, but we will inform you in writing at the point when you fill in one of our finance proposal forms. Our order form to you, will also detail any commission we will be paid by the finance company. It is important to us to be transparent about the existence of finance commission so that you can make an informed decision about entering a finance agreement.
Finance commission comes in a number of different forms and is explained below:
Finance Commission
Where we introduce you to a finance provider, they will pay us commission after the vehicle has been delivered and the finance agreement set live. Depending on the finance provider and the customer type, the finance commission may be pre-determined by that finance provider or it may be determined by us, at our discretion. The amount of finance commission that is paid to us, directly impacts your monthly rental or finance payment and is paid for by you, in your monthly rental or finance payments. Finance commission is paid to us, to cover the costs of organising your credit application, administering your finance documents and completing the finance agreement with the finance company. The amount of finance commission will be disclosed to you at the point of completing a finance proposal and on your order form from us.
In some instances, we may receive an additional commission from our finance companies subject to meeting contractual targets we may have with them. Where this commission is anticipated or agreed, it will be shown on your order form.

Data Protection - Why you can trust us
We will not abuse your data, we'll keep it safe (in accordance with current UK data protection regulations), we may use your personal data to check your credit record with credit reference agencies and for fraud prevention purposes. We will contact you in the future to send you more offers, but if you don't want this just e-mail info@crusadervehicles.co.uk. We will never sell your data to another organisation. Our Privacy policy is available to view on our website https://crusadercarleasing.co.uk/privacy-policy By passing us your personal credit details, you will be giving us authority to submit a credit application on your behalf to our credit providers. We will only pass your details onto subsequent credit providers if the initial application is not successful.
What else you need to know
The finance provider we have introduced you to may charge fees or administration charges which include but are not exhaustive to Document fee, fine administration, cherished number plate administration, failed direct debit, foreign travel documentation, damage to vehicle on return. A schedule of these fees are available from the finance provider. They will also provide a Keyfacts document when finance documents have been raised.
Vehicle Maintenance: It is your responsibility to maintain the vehicle in accordance with the manufacturer's service schedule irrespective of whether maintenance is included in your agreement or not.
Our services are not connected in any way to a finance agreement.
Your statutory rights, including any right you have as a customer, are not affected by anything in this document.
Nothing in the agreement is intended to limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury or for fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability that may not legally be limited or excluded
